The Anglian Boxer Club held their first Members Ltd Inaugural Show in 1977, the Judge was Dick Witham. The Club was formed by a small group of Boxer enthusiasts, several of whom served on the Committee for the rest of their lives. The Club was delighted to be given Kennel Club approval & held it's first Championship Show in 1990.

It has held a Championship Show annually ever since, until 2007, when due to a rotation of CC’s we where unable to hold a one. We did hold two very successful Open Shows with excellent entries. In 2008 we held our usual CH show, at Newark & Notts Showground a great venue, with lots of open spaces for exercising dogs before the show and with ample parking for vehicles even the provision for caravan/campervan overnight stays for those travelling long distances.

The Club also holds an Open Show each year in September at Barnwell Village Hall, nr Peterborough. This has an equally friendly atmosphere and the home cooked food on offer is second to none !!!!

Unfortunately we have decided to call it a day on match nights for the time being, due to lack of support. We will be looking at starting up again in the future if we find the interest is there and members will come and support the evenings. Many thanks to the committee for turning out each month and a special thanks must go to Eileen Woolliss and Karen Gale, who always supplied us with a delicious buffet each month!
