At our Champ Show in January 2008 Boxer Rescue came and had a stall selling their excellent Boxer merchandise. See letter below from Dawn the Rescue Co-ordinatorFirst of all my sincere apologies for not getting this off to you sooner.....on arriving home on Saturday I had to rush a dog we had in the kennels off to the vets, he came into us very poorly and was on medication, but sadly bless him, he did not make it, we had to put him out of his misery. Then on Sunday & Monday I was so busy at the kennels re-homing gorgeous dogs. Hence the delay getting in touch with you....... We had a super day with you all, and it was extremely kind of you to invite us, you made us feel so welcome....thank you so very much!! And what a bonus for me to win that micro wave in the raffle....I have given my old one to the kennels for the use of. Who ever supplied it, please thank them on my behalf for me. We raised a staggering £408.00 on our stall, with the £50 donation you gave us and the £200.00 donated from your club , our funds are £658.00 better off. I can assure you this will be put to extremely good use within the welfare of the dogs we have in our care, and a few more that are waiting to come to us. I am not sure if you produce a newsletter for you members, but if you do I would so appreciate you thanking all your members on behalf of LETBR for making this happen. I have put a thread up on our message forum telling everyone about our brilliant day we had with you, and of course how much was raised and donated by yourselves. I will attach a picture I took of Lesley (my trusted college) receiving the cheque of £200. from Mr Baxter...you may like to include this in your newsletter.
